Delivery to Ukraine

Shipping to Ukraine

Every acquisition travels to Ukraine with insured, fully tracked Secure Global Delivery. One price at checkout — object, delivery and insurance.

Delivery time
4–7 business days from dispatch to Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv and Dnipro; 1–3 days longer for other regions. Customs clearance can add up to 3 business days.
Cost
Included in the price you see. We add no shipping fee for Ukraine, no handling fee and no surcharge for insurance.
Tracking
The carrier and tracking number reach you by email the moment the parcel leaves the Atelier, followed by status updates. A signature is required on delivery.
Insurance
Every parcel is insured for its full purchase value, door to door, at our cost — including while it waits in customs.
If a parcel is lost
Report it within 2 days of the promised delivery date through the inquiry page. We open a carrier investigation within 1 business day and keep you informed. If the parcel is not located within 14 days, you choose a full refund or a replacement of equal value. The claim stays ours to pursue — you never negotiate with a carrier.

Customs & taxes

Import duties and taxes

Ukraine sits outside the European Union customs area, so your parcel is cleared on arrival. The recipient is the importer of record: any import duty, VAT or carrier clearance fee is payable by you, not by The Archive, and is not part of the price at checkout.

Under current Ukrainian rules for parcels sent to private individuals, shipments valued up to EUR 150 are exempt from import duty and VAT. Above that threshold, duty (normally 10% on leather goods) and VAT (20%) are charged on the customs value, plus the carrier’s clearance fee. Limits and rates are set by Ukrainian law and can change — the carrier confirms the exact figure for your parcel.

We declare the full commercial value on every parcel and cannot mark an order as a gift or understate it. Customs charges are collected by the carrier before delivery.

Duties and taxes are not refunded by us when an object is returned: outside the European Union they are reclaimed from the customs authority by whoever paid them.

Questions before you acquire

Our atelier answers in Ukrainian and English — provenance, condition, extra photographs, delivery timing — before you commit. Ask from any object page or through the inquiry form; we reply within one business day.
